Derailed

I have been derailed from the cleanse.  First, there was a birthday at Sushi Bistro (www.sushibistro.com).  Then, there was a football gathering (not my choice, my husband is a fan of the Green Bay Packers).  And finally, a galette des Rois party:


A French tradition where you eat a galette in which a little "feve" is hidden and the one who gets the slice with the "feve" becomes the king and gets to wear the crown:

Yes, my husband was thrilled to be the winner.  I cannot thank the Dechant's enough for this priceless picture...

  1. Happy to see this blog back on track! I missed the flurry of yummy and healthy dishes ... even though after reading each entry I feel embarrassed at what I serve for dinner on week days!! Yes, the French are being taught lessons on gastronomy here!
